The Support Services Division is comprised
of five (5) sections, Investigations, Communications,
Records, and Evidence and Property Control.
Investigations
The Investigations Section is under the supervision of a Sergeant, who reports
directly to the Support Operations Commander. The section's primary responsibility
are:
Investigative follow ups in reported incidents within the city of Norcross;
Background investigations for police department applicants;
Crime scene investigations of serious felony cases.

Communications Section
The Communications Section of the Norcross Police Department is responsible for
both emergency and non emergency radio and telephone communications with police
personnel and the community. The section is supervised by a Communications
Supervisor, who reports directly to the Administrative Lieutenant. The
Communications Section is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week .
Records & Crime Analysis
The records section is responsible for maintaining all reports that are generated by the members of the Norcross Police Department.
